Wilderness meditation

Spring is here!

If you are heading off into the hills and mountains, then you might like to check out the wilderness meditations in our resources sectiion.

These are Aoradh's attempt to combine trips into wilderness with contemplative meditation, rituals, and creativity. Some of these are best done with small groups, but most can also be used alone.

We will be adding new meditations throughout the year, so please visit again later.

Please let us know how you get on!

TENT

Aoradh have begun discussions about a worship installation/ meditation space called TENT.

We thought this might make an interesting case study of the construction of an Alternative Worship event.

There is a new category in the Alternative worship section of this site, where we will be posting news of our progress...

Welcome to Aoradh!

Aoradh (meaning ‘adoration’) is a Christian arts group based in Dunoon, Argyll. Members of our group come from many different traditions and church backgrounds, and we greatly value the creativity and diversity that this brings to our experience.

Our practices arise from our experience of community. Out of this common ground, we seek to create spaces and events that enable us to worship and to celebrate our faith. This is no exclusive group however, and we are always open to meeting and working with others.

Aoradh seeks to work with (and serve) others whenever we can. In doing this, we offer our worship.

We invite you inside.

 Some of our recent events include;
